Over the last few years, we have developed and grown our Christchurch based Traffic Management department into a regional based operation and have relocated existing team members around the South Island to support this growth. We are now looking to include qualified TMP designers, to support clients, councils, and projects.

Based primarily at our Christchurch head office, the TMP designers will work towards and establish clear support to our Canterbury, Marlborough, West Coast and Dunedin Branches. As this is a newly created role which be ownership to help create functioning systems and communication flow, to support fast accurate turn arounds of work.

Where suitable, each region will supply the Designers the information required to create and submit suitable and compliant TMP’s to council. This process will also be offered to external clients, where they do not have their own TMP service.

Our TMP designers will also work closely with the company Tender team, working on staging diagrams and quotes to help support and protect the ongoing flow of work into the wider business.

Where regional work has larger projects, there may be requirements to travel and stay away for short periods, to undertake site walkovers and meetings with engineers and clients.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Achieved or be undertaking a NZTA recognised Designer Certificate.
  • Be computer literate, and proficient in TM design programmes, word and excel.
  • A high level or verbal and written communication
