Isaac Construction currently holds the Greymouth District Council road maintenance contract, which encompasses the maintenance and renewal of sealed and unsealed roads, bridges, drainage, footpaths, cycle paths, vegetation control, and incident response.

In addition, we work in partnership with Downer to deliver maintenance and resurfacing for the North Canterbury Network Outcomes Contract (NOC), covering the area from Kaikōura to Rakaia and extending inland on SH 73 to the Arthur’s Pass township.

The Isaac Sealing team designs cost-effective sealing solutions tailored to the network’s needs. Isaac Construction handled the resurfacing component for SH 73, SH 75, and SH 77 within the North Canterbury NOC, including AWT first coat sealing. The range of seal types included single-coat, two-coat, and fabric seals, all applied using emulsion. The team successfully completed resealing in alpine sections of SH 73 and SH 77, overcoming challenges posed by extreme weather, snowfall, and gritting.

During the 2022/23 reseal season, the North Canterbury NOC held the country's largest renewals programme. Isaac Construction completed approximately 47 lane kilometres. In the 2023/24 season, the team completed an additional 26 lane kilometres. All traffic management was self-performed by Isaac Construction.
