We’re replacing the existing watermain and wastewater pipe on Hills Road, Prestons Road, and Hawkins Road. This project will support the area’s needs for future growth as well as ensuring a reliable water infrastructure.

Location:

• Hills Road, between QEII Drive and Prestons Road
• Prestons Road, between Walters Road and Oakbridge Blvd
• Hawkens Road, between Prestons Road and Selkirk Place

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm, and Saturday 8am to 12pm (weather/site conditions dependent).

Water supply will be maintained throughout the project. A separate notice will be provided prior to any temporary shut-off required to connect new pipelines.

Temporary traffic management measures will be in place. These may include road closures, detour routes, speed restrictions, and pedestrian/cycle management. Please follow all posted signage and directions from onsite traffic controllers.

We are committed to minimising disruption and will remove traffic management as soon as it is safe to do so.
There may be times when on-street parking and property access are temporarily restricted. Where required, the contractor will door-knock to allow residents to move vehicles.

Construction activities may result in temporary increases in dust, noise, and vibration.
