We are carrying out important upgrade works along Marine Parade, improving both the underground infrastructure and the streetscape. These works are part of ongoing efforts to enhance the resilience and appearance of the area, ensuring Marine Parade continues to serve the local community well into the future.

The construction of the new Nelson Bus Hub is about to begin. it will be the home of the eBus, as well as Intercity, school buses and regional minibuses (taking Customers to Golden Bay and the National Parks). Sheltered waiting areas (both inside and outside) will be provided, and bus users will be assisted with audio and visual communication. New landscaping and furniture will enhance the area, and new concrete pavement will provide a resilient space for all our busses.
