Our paving and sealing crews are perfectly placed to assist on projects of any size. We carry out high quality work across anything from residential driveways, council owned footpaths, private carparks, to multilane highways.

Sealing Division

Isaac Construction has been sealing roads since day one. In the decades since, we’ve continued to innovate and improve our techniques; providing products of the highest quality by making our own chip and using the latest technologies to ensure there are never any delays or issues with supply.

No job is too big or small; and our skilled teams of engineers, project managers, foremen and crew all take pride in working right throughout our region. Even outside Canterbury, there aren’t many parts of the South Island we haven’t sealed.

We employ the latest technologies in both bitumen and emulsion binders, and can recommend the benefits and risks of each product, tailored to your specific project. Using chip sourced from our own quarry means we can test it onsite at our laboratory and fast turn around in supply is never an issue. Isaac use a fleet of modern sprayers with built in data analytics ensuring a high quality of service with accurate reporting on litres used and area sprayed.

Our sealing teams work across the full spectrum of project size from small patch repairs on residential driveways, to multilane highways across the South Island.

Paving Division

Installing new asphalt surfaces requires a combination of the right equipment, high-quality materials and experienced professionals who know how to use them. With our own laboratory producing and testing asphalt and bitumen products; our own workshop supplying and servicing the latest surfacing equipment; and five dedicated teams of skilled craftsmen ready at a moment’s notice, we're ready to provide a finish you can be proud of.

We use a range of modern road pavers in our fleet, and all are capable of laying both base course and asphalt which results in an increase in productivity for our clients. An additional feature of our pavers is a specialised extendable arm allowing our teams to pave at widths of 7.5m, minimising visible joins. As a part of our own quality assurance procedure, we produce paving run plans for each site to be discussed and agreed with you, prior to work starting. This will include strategically placing hot and cold joints where it will ensure less impact on the traffic wheel path.
