Project Stage In progress
Date of completion May 2025
The Selwyn District Council is carrying out upgrades to install traffic lights at the Levi Road/Lowes Road/Masefield Drive/Lincoln Rolleston Road intersection and upgrade the approaches to the intersection.
This work is a long-term project for the Council to upgrade this arterial road for Rolleston, to improve safety and prepare the intersection for future traffic. It will involve new lane layouts on the approaches to the intersection, traffic lights, cycle lanes and signalised pedestrian crossings.
Our team began stage 1 of the investigation and enabling works on Monday 2 December. This was to prepare the area for the main construction period from January until the end of April 2025.
From Monday 6 January 2025, we are entering stage 2 if these works. This stage will finish at the end of February 2025 and will be followed by stage 3 of the works.
Stage 2 will see Lincoln-Rolleston Road closed from the intersection to around 341 Lincoln Rolleston Road.
