Traffic Impacts

• From 7pm to 11pm on Tuesday 24 November, traffic will be reduced to one lane under stop-go control.
• Work will involve the use of a concrete saw which will have the biggest noise impact and this will be from 7pm until 9pm (at the latest). Following this, the work will have a low level of noise disruption for residents.
• Residents will have access to their driveways, however if there is a short period where we have to restrict access, our supervisor will discuss individual access needs with affected residents directly.

• This update to the current work notice is to advise residents that our work programme has been extended through to the 27th of November due to a number of unforeseen circumstances that arose during the first phase of the upgrade work along Domain Terrace.
• We will continue to maintain pedestrian access where possible, with alternative routes clearly marked where applicable.
• We will continue to maintain residents’ access where possible as we work predominantly on the western side of Domain Terrace constructing the shared path.

• Please note we will make a start on Molesworth Place from the 26th of October, this will not impact residents’ access to Molesworth Place, access will be maintained via 1 or 2 lanes – depending on our work scope.
• Our work on the Ferniehurst Bridge will start from the 2nd of November, once the Woodbank-Ferniehurst intersection upgrade work is complete.
• Access to Cashmere Road via the Ferniehurst Bridge will be temporarily closed.
• Ferniehurst Street, between Molesworth Place and Ashgrove Terrace will also be temporarily closed.
• There will be some minor works undertaken on the corner of Molesworth Place and Ferniehurst Street. Two lanes for traffic will be maintained for the duration of the works.
• Ashgrove Terrace will be reduced to one lane, controlled by traffic lights either side of the bridge to enable the upgrade works.
• Detours will be in place for Ashgrove residents via Ashgrove Terrace, Fairview Street and then onto Cashmere Road.
• Detours for Molesworth Place, Ferniehurst Street, Woodbank Street, Karaka Place, Paikea Place and Palmside Street will be via Palmside Street, Rose Street, Hoon Hay Road and back onto Cashmere Road.

• The bus stop outside 50 Sparks Road will be temporarily closed while we undertake this work. An alternative bus stop can be found outside BP service station on Hoon Hay Road.

• While the road closure is in place parking and pedestrian access for residents into Pablo Place will be via Hoon Hay Road-Muirson Avenue-McBeath Avenue and through the alley way into Pablo Place.
• There will be no on-street parking available in Pablo Place for the duration of the works.

• The road will be closed from the last hospital access to the motorway underpass for vehicles, however a shared path will be available for pedestrians and cyclists.
• All access points into the hospital will be maintained, exits will be via nominated exits as shown below.
• There will be parking restrictions in place as shown on the map below in pink.

• A temporary road closure for up to 10 days, between 7am and 6pm, on McBeath Avenue/Greenpark Street corner is required to complete this section of work. We will door knock residents to discuss arrangements for your vehicle and access to your property during the day.
• The walkway through to Pablo Place will be closed for the duration of the works. Detours for pedestrians and cyclists will be in place via Muirson Avenue, Hoon Hay Road and back onto Sparks Road.
• All other pedestrian access will be maintained but may change on a day by day basis, depending on works.
