In early 2025 work is going to get under way on constructing the most northern section of the Nor'West Art Te Ara O-Rakipaoa cycleway.

We are also completing wastewater pipe renewals in the area and upgrading the stormwater and water supply networks.

These projects have been programmed together to ensure a coordinated approach to work in the area.

The project will be completed in three stages, with stage one beginning 13 January 2025.

The full project scope is expected to be completed by mid-2026.

Aorangi and Wairakei roads are open for business throughout the works.

Details of traffic management impacts will be made available in the coming weeks.
