Given their close proximity, the two intersection upgrades are being undertaken concurrently. The Springs and Marsh's Road intersection is on the district boundary between Selwyn and Christchurch City, however Selwyn District Council is managing the upgrade of this intersection on behalf of Christchurch City Council.
